About
Hi, I’m Kascha, the founder of Daffodil.
Storytelling has always been a part of who I am. With a Bachelor's in Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson), and specialized training in Documentary Filmmaking (Seneca College) and Broadcast Journalism (New York Film Academy), it wasn’t just about learning how to tell stories, it was finding a meaningful way to share them.
For over a decade I worked in digital media, helping bring people’s stories to life. Some of the most wonderful moments came from creating legacy videos for older adults. Capturing their voices, their memories, and their wisdom for generations to come. It was a reminder of how powerful it is to share.
When I became a mother suddenly, the small, quiet moments felt just as important as the big ones. I realized how easy it is to capture these memories… but how hard it can be to hold on to them.
That’s why I started Daffodil.
I wanted to create a way for people to turn the clips on their phones — the birthdays, the first steps, the laughter, the everyday magic — into something they can watch back and truly cherish. Because memories deserve more than just storage. They deserve to be felt again.
Let’s preserve your story beautifully, and with heart.
