To get started on your editing project, we’ll need your video files. To make things easy, we’ve sent you a WeTransfer link. It lets you upload everything straight to our private storage—quick and simple!

If you’re using an Apple computer and your videos are stored in the 'Photos' app it might feel a little complicated, but don’t worry—we’ve put together a step-by-step guide to walk you through it.

Step1: Export your videos from Photos

-
Open the Photos app on your Mac.
-
Go to the Videos album in the lefthand sidebar, or find the videos you want to send.
-
Select the video(s) you want.
-
From the top menu, choose:
File → Export → Export [number] Videos... -
A dialog will appear — choose:
-
File Format: “Movie” or “Original Unmodified” (depending on your needs)
-
Quality: “High” or “Maximum” for best results
-
Resolution: “Full Size” (especially if you want to preserve HD or 4K quality)
-
Click Export, then choose a location (for example, your Desktop) and click Export again.

Step 2: Open the WeTransfer upload link
-
Click or paste the WeTransfer link that the person sent you — it’ll open in your web browser.
-
The page will likely say “Upload files to [person’s name]”.
-
Click Add your files.
-
Find and select the video files you just exported from Photos.
-
Enter your name and email address when prompted.
-
Click Transfer / Upload.

Step 3: Wait for the upload to complete

-
Videos are large files, so upload speed depends on your internet connection.
-
Keep the browser window open while uploading — if you close it, the transfer will stop.
-
Once it’s done, you’ll see “Upload complete”, and you may receive an email confirmation.
